 | Arthur Rackham - born 19th September 1867, died 6th September 1939, was an English illustrator of books. He was a brilliant artist, who illustrated fairy tale collections & "Alice in Wonderland", amongst others. Ralph Vaughan Williams was born 12th October 1872 & died 26th August 1958. He was an English composer of symphonies, chamber music, opera, choral music & film scores. HIs beautiful rendition of "Greensleeves" (the song arguably attributed to King Henry VIII) is one of my favorite pieces of classical music. | Views: 0  0 ratings |
