They might be located 3,000 miles away from Ground Zero, but the folks at the legendary Los Angeles Canter's Deli want to thank the servicemen of the area ... with tasty, tasty treats.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of September 11, they will be handing out free cupcakes to all firefighters, police officers and military personnel (provided they come in uniform or show some proof of service).

A rep for the deli tells us, "Canter's would like to thank fire departments, police officers and military for
all their hard work."

"Last Dragon" star Leo O'Brien was in good mood when he spotted him in NYC yesterday -- and considering he was shot three times just a few days earlier ... it's not hard to see why.

As TMZ first reported, O'Brien was shot on September 5 in Harlem, NY for no apparent reason.

O'Brien -- who was with his "Last Dragon" co-star Taimak -- says the guy who shot him has already been caught and he holds no grudges -- in fact ... O'Brien says he has "already prayed for him three times."

Cliff Robertson, Uncle Ben in 'Spider-Man' Movies, Dead at 88

Cliff Robertson, who won an Oscar in 1968 and became known to modern audiences for his roll as Uncle Ben in the "Spider-Man" movies, died yesterday. He was 88.

Robertson famously portrayed John F. Kennedy in the movie "PT-109," the first movie to portray a sitting president.

He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1968 for his portrayal of a mentally disabled man in the movie "Charly."

Robertson was a certified pilot and was in the air and piloting a
private plane over New York City on the morning of September 11, 2001.

Former Disney Singer Busted for DUI

Shelby Cobra, lead singer of the now-defunct Disney girl band KSM, was arrested early Friday morning for driving under the influence -- and according to our sources ... her blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit. Did we mention she's only 18?

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Cobra, real name Shelby Spalione, was spotted in Studio City driving a 2005 Ford F150 with the dome light on and a passenger who was not only not wearing a seat belt, but was sitting sideways.

We're told when cops pulled the car over, they detected alcohol on Shelby's breath and administered a blood alcohol test ... which registered a whopping 0.15%.

She was arrested and booked into Van Nuys jail at around 2:00 AM. Shelby was released just before 11:00 AM on her own recognizance.

KSM was originally formed as a kids version of a Go-Go's cover band. Shelby joined the group later on and the focus shifted from pop to rock. The band broke up in 2010.

Calls to Shelby's people have not been returned.

Petra Ecclestone's older and hotter sister, Tamara, is shopping in L.A. for a mansion of her own, and we've learned she spent time Friday looking at Ellen DeGeneres' compound (a portion of which is seen above), which she could snag for around $50 million. But Tamara tells us the house was just not for her.

Fact is ... Ellen's house is priced like a bungalow compared to Petra's $85 million mansion that she just bought from Candy Spelling.

Rachel Uchitel visited the memorial at Ground Zero this morning to pay her respects to those who lost their lives on September 11 -- including her fiancé at the time, James Andrew O'Grady.

Uchitel is currently embroiled in a spat with Page Six Magazine, which ran an article that quoted her as saying, "I believe Andy was meant to die because he was too good."

Rachel says she never said it and plans on suing.

Birthdays for Moby are bittersweet -- because the native New Yorker was born on September 11, 1965 ... and he told us yesterday it took him a few years after 9/11 to begin to celebrate his birthday on that day again.

But Moby says he's come to grips with what happened and is able to celebrate it now, saying, "It's been 10 years and a lot of NYers ... I think we grieved for a while, but it happened a while ago. So I think we've sort of left the grieving behind."

Owners of MJ Death Home Goes After Star Map Peddler

The owner of the home where Michael Jackson died is suing a woman who is selling maps to movie stars' homes .... just feet from the MJ house.

Linda Welton has become semi-famous for anyone who drives on Sunset Blvd. in the fancy area where MJ rented the house. She's done a booming business since Michael died, in no small part because she's selling the maps in plain view of the MJ home.

In the lawsuit ... obtained by TMZ ... the owners of the now-infamous 100 North Carolwood Drive claims they can't sell the house because "Potential buyers are bothered upon approach by the quite visible and annoying constant illegal stopping and/or parking of cars in front of the home on what otherwise would be a quiet residential street."

The owners -- Hubert and Roxanne Guez -- claim their property value has plummeted because of the stream of traffic, Linda's lawn chair, coolers and large patio umbrella, and the illegally parked cars. They also allege Linda is violating the law by essentially having a newsstand on a street corner.

Linda claims she's running the same business her mom did, and her mom already went to court and won a lawsuit giving her the right to sell the maps. Linda thinks the current case is nothing more than harassment.

Here's the problem with the lawsuit ...The way we see it, even if Linda went away, there would still be a steady stream of cars loaded with people who want to see where Michael died.
