An apparently deranged man was just handcuffed and taken away by cops outside Sharon Stone's Hollywood Hills mansion, after he was banging at her gate, claiming he killed Osama bin Laden.
Law enforcement sources tell us the man -- approximately 50 years old and from the Midwest -- took a cab to Sharon's house and began ranting that he and Sharon had a child together.
We're told Sharon was not home because she's in NY shooting a movie, but her staff called the LAPD, and cops raced up and subdued the man before he was able to enter Sharon's property.
The man is being detained for mental evaluation.
Sharon has had two serious problems with stalkers in the past, and it's the second time this year someone left her home in cuffs.
