Seth Green -- Now 50% Less Jewish

Seth Benjamin Gesshel-Green will soon be half the Jew he used to be -- TMZ has learned the actor is dropping his mom's maiden name "Gesshal" ... and sticking to just plain Green.

TMZ has obtained the petition filed by the "Robot Chicken" producer in L.A. County Superior Court this month -- asking a judge to legally shorten his name to Seth Benjamin Green.

Seth claims the reason for the name change is "to reflect my professional stage name."

Now -- just like Mr. World Peace -- Seth is required to print a public declaration of his new name in a local newspaper once a week ... for 4 weeks in a row.

He's due back in court on October 20 -- so the judge can make the change official.

Nickelodeon Star -- I'm NO Drunk Driver!

Nickelodeon star Ryan Rottman pled not guilty to DUI Thursday ... insisting he did not drive drunk after hanging out at a Hollywood bar with his BFF Zac Efron last month ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ first reported ... Ryan was arrested on July 8 -- minutes after leaving Dillon's Irish Pub where he partied with Zac and Rumor Willis.

During Rottman's arrest, Efron -- who was still hanging out in the area -- was seen pacing around on his cell phone.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Rottman's blood alcohol level was .19 -- more than twice the legal limit.

Rottman is due back in court next month.

Gary Busey -- Resurrects Buddy Holly ... Through Crappy Karaoke

Gary Busey was nominated for an Academy Award in 1978 for his portrayal of Buddy Holly... and this week he resurrected the role at a karaoke bar in Malibu.

Busey busted out a rendition of "Maybe Baby" at Cafe' Habana Wednesday night -- and the crowd went nuts.

JaMarcus Russell -- Back from the Debt

NFL bust JaMarcus Russell is still paying for the mess he made in Oakland ... but this time it's a good thing.

TMZ has learned ... the #1 overall pick in the 2007 Draft was hit with a $223,180.05 lien by the State of California Tax Board for failing to pay his taxes in 2008 ... when he still played for the Raiders.

But this story has a happy ending, because according to court documents filed in Alameda County, CA -- JaMarcus recently paid off his debt the lien has been released.

Russell still has ties to Oakland -- where a $2.4 million mansion he owns is still in foreclosure and is set to be auctioned off next month ... unless he decides to pay off the debts and penalties.

FYI -- Russell famously signed a RIDICULOUS contract worth around $60 mil in 2007 -- and then proceeded to only win seven games in three pathetic seasons.

Always Sunny in Philadelpia Star -- Stalker Emailed Me Bloody Finger Pics

Thesy Surface -- the actress who plays the creepy Margaret McPoyle on "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" -- has turned to police for help, claiming a stalker's been harassing her online ... even emailing her pics of an animated finger spelling the c-word in blood.

Police obtained a search warrant to investigate the anonymous sender -- and have traced the messages back to a Tumblr account by the name of "dirtythesy."

According to the docs, police successfully retrieved the user's email address and IP address late last month -- and plan to pursue a criminal investigation.

Police believe the mystery person first made contact with Thesy via Twitter -- posting a long comment on one of her videos, calling her "ugly and untalented."

But that was just the beginning -- on July 10th, the alleged stalker contacted her again with a Tumblr account that contained several more degrading messages ... and a picture with a "vulgar image" superimposed.

Thesy received two identical emails days later with the message "Bloody Finger Mail" -- containing a moving image of a finger ... inscribing the word "c**t" in blood.

According to the docs, Thesy's spooked because she thinks the person knows all her personal information -- and she has no idea who's behind the attacks.

Sources close to Thesy tell us, she's fully cooperating with the LAPD -- and hopes they find the person responsible for the messages. Her rep had no official comment.

Casey Anthony -- Fixing Her Mental Problems ... From Home

Casey Anthony has decided NOT to enter a treatment facility for "obvious mental health issues" -- instead, TMZ has learned, she's getting professional psychiatric help delivered right to her front door.

Sources close to Casey tell TMZ, she's concerned about leaving her Florida home -- where she's serving a year of probation for her check fraud case -- but Casey still understands she needs mental help.

The solution ... we're told Casey has hired a team of mental health professionals to visit her on a regular basis.

But it doesn't end there -- we're told Casey has also employed the help of a spiritual adviser to keep her centered.

As we previously reported, sources close to Casey tell TMZ, Casey attributes her bizarre behavior when her daughter Caylee went missing back in 2008 to "obvious mental health issues."

According to sources, Casey needs to cope with the "obvious trauma of losing her child" -- and nearly three years spent behind bars in solitary confinement didn't help ... "It messed with her head."
